The International Network of Churches began under the name Christian Outreach Centre and started on the 16th of June 1974.

On this day a group of 25 people met together in a home to pray and believe God to bring about revival in their nation. A week later, the first church service took place with 126 people taking communion in the ground floor auditorium of the Teachers Union Building in Brisbane, Australia. A move of God broke out in the church and it multiplied, influencing thousands every weekend. Revival quickly spread across Australia that led to many churches being established and thousands coming to know Jesus. Over time more and more churches were planted with a clear mandate to see the world won for Christ and there are now over 1000 churches globally who are part of the INC family.

In 1991, Pastors Hap and Faith Seed moved over from Australia to plant a church in South Auckland, New Zealand. Over time that has spread to now having 6 churches across New Zealand and over 1200 members across our locations.

In 1992 a church was launched in Tonga which over time has become 5 churches across two Islands. The National leadership of New Zealand provides leadership, support and resources to our Tonga whanau. INC New Zealand today is a healthy, thriving movement of churches that are passionate about seeing New Zealand and the Pacific won for Christ and raising healthy leaders who will plant and build churches and influence the world.
